See How Our Renovations Come to Life...

Edmonstone St, Newmarket When our clients came to us they had spent about 10 years trying to find a solution for their growing family. They were short on space but did not want to go to the extent of raising and building under. With some reconfiguring of the existing space to make more of each square metre, we were able to add an ensuite for the main room, an additional bedroom and a dedicated study. All of this by just using the existing space to better effect. The outside was given some love (and lots of building work) and it sprung to life, revealing it’s classic beauty and former glory. The clients are so happy with the result and so were we of course... [see gallery]

Roy St, Ashgrove Louise and Shane had purchased an old Queenslander in a great street but it needed attention. Bathrooms and kitchens were not functional and the downstairs area was a mish mash of home renovators dreams. They wanted to create a highly functional yet beautiful home for their young family. Most of the house was reconfigured, internal stairs put in for access to the downstairs living and the most gorgeous kitchen and bathrooms installed. The downstairs rumpus and entertaining spaces will be the envy of all as they have so much room. The effect as it comes to life is WOW! Will keep updating the photos as we move to the end of the project. Believe me when I say that it is as exciting for us as it is for them as the transformation unfolds. I can see a few great parties coming on!... [see gallery] |

Redford Crescent, McDowall When Helen and Michael approached us they were entering a new phase of their lives. They had their first grandchild on the way, a child in senior years at school and a mother who was potentially to move in or stay with them for long periods of time. They needed more room and also spaces within their home where the occupants could spend some time alone, not all on top of each other when the house was full. It was decided to build up and add an additional level to accommodate a master bedroom, ensuite, sewing room, study and internal stairs. The result is amazing and the addition of the upstairs level does not look like a renovation at all. So from now on when their grandchild is crying downstairs, they can breeze up the stairs close the door to their room and sip on their tea (or wine) in peace. Ahhhhh!... [see gallery] |

Flowermarket Expresso, Stafford There was a lot of work to do, gutting the inside shell and getting it back to a blank canvas. A cold room was installed, custom cabinetry built in, effective signage installed and a lick of paint to bring it to life. The result is great and it is a quaint and inviting space even though it is on the extremely busy Stafford Rd. Drop by for coffee and flowers if you are ever passing by. You will be pleasantly surprised!... [see gallery] |

Manubar Place, Chapel Hill David and Chris came to us with the vision of totally renovating their entire home both inside and out. Their children were older and starting to move out and they wanted to restore the home as it was showing signs of wear and tear and the orgiinal fitout was literally starting to fall apart. We created some plans that opened up the entire kitchen and living spaces onto a huge new deck. Previously the home had been difficult to entertain in, however now with the changes they will have the ability to have a great number of friends and family at once. We redesigned the two existing bathrooms and a new ensuite and completely renovated every living space and bedroom in the house. We also created a small dedicated study for the computer and paperwork. What has resulted is a remarkable change that we here at RHQ are very proud of...[see gallery] |

Greenwood Cres. Samford Tony and Marilyn came to us because they were at the point where they HATED their ensuite so much they could barely look at it for another day. Carmen came up with a design that better suit their needs by rearranging the layout. Some windows were removed and new louvres installed for better light and ventilation. A huge new vanity installed in a different place and a large walk-in shower with no door for easy access and less cleaning. We worked together on selecting the tiles and vanity colours and Carmen and cabinet maker designed the cabinetry. What has resulted is an exciting new space that will be more practical as well as becoming a much more exciting space...[see gallery] |

Julia St , Highgate Hill This cute little cottage in Highgate Hill was getting a little crowded with their teenage children. Space was tight and so it was decided that the house be lifted and built in underneath to accomodate the more space for the family. The downstairs area was newly built to contain a new rumpus area with a self contained kitchen, two bedrooms and bathroom and wc and a laundry. The house has effectively doubled in size whilst also giving the teenagers the space and privacy they were seeking... [see gallery] |

Warrego Crescent, Murrumba Downs Kate and Matt had been renting out their home for some time and it was looking tired and run down. They decided to replace the kitchen with something more contemporary and more functional, replace the tiles and carpet, retile the ensuites and add new cabinetry and fixtures. Outside we retiled their entertaining area and landscpaped the front yard to include some stairs and retaining walls. The home is now much more inviting and looks fresh and welcoming...[see gallery] |

Devonhill St, The Gap David and Fiona felt that it was time to update their home by opening up the kitchen and living spaces, renovating the bathrooms, kitchen and laundry and adding a new deck for entertaining. The project was divided into two stages to minimize disruption to the family so they were able to stay in their home during much of the renovation. The bathrooms and laundry were completley stripped out to make way for a new layout with updated tiles, plumbing, electrical and cabinetry… [see gallery] |

Moreton St, Norman Park With James and Jo expecting another baby, it was time to expand their living space. New bedrooms were added plus a rumpus room and guest room. A carport was built so that the car was able to be under cover and a walkway created to a new house entrance.
